GTA 6 Editions: Standard vs Ultimate
Grand Theft Auto VI comes in two editions — Standard and Ultimate. Both include the full game. Here’s exactly what differs, and which to buy — with a source on every price.
| What you get | Standard | Ultimate |
|---|---|---|
| Price (USD) | $79.99 | $99.99 |
| Full story campaign | Yes — included | Yes — included |
| Vintage Vice City Pack (pre-order bonus) | Yes — included | Yes — included |
| Extra digital content | —not included | Yes — included |
Prices are USD; regional pricing varies (e.g. £64.99 / £84.99). Full Ultimate contents are on Rockstar’s pre-order page — we don’t list anything unconfirmed.
Which edition should you buy?
Buy Standardif you mainly want to play the game. You get the complete story and the same pre-order bonus — you’re not locked out of any of the campaign.
Buy Ultimate(+$20) if you want the extra digital content and like to start with everything unlocked. Rockstar hasn’t indicated any missions or story are exclusive to it, so it’s a collector’s choice, not a gameplay one.
Both editions include the Vintage Vice City Pack — but only if you pre-order before launch (November 19, 2026). Pre-orders opened June 25, 2026.
